I did do a good job if I may say so myself. But, Daniel and Maggie were sure to point out that Grandmama Hipps does squash better than me (even though I got the recipe from her). She will actually cook up squash with onion like she is preparing a casserole but just serve it like that. I think that is what the kids like better than the actual casserole. We're glad to be back home to.
Angie, I might have to get that squash casserole recipe from you. One of Ren's favorite foods is squash casserole. I have a pretty good recipe, but I would be willing to try yours, especially after such rave reviews!
Mm mm! Squash Casserole. I've never had the Hipps' recipe, but I love my wife's. If you are not privileged enough to eat that then may I recommend Weaver D's. It's the best commercially available squash in Athens and they serve it every day.
